My interior design education began in the house I grew up in, but was greatly fortified by the mentorship of some of the design and decorative art world’s legendary practitioners. David Hicks, Barbara Wirth, Christian Badin and Hubert de Givenchy all influence my practice, and hints of their hands show up in my interiors, all of which feature strong roots in the historical decorative arts.

I am happiest when my work involves striking up a conversation between 18th century decorative arts and 21st century artists and artisans.
