Paper Luncheon, Musée des Arts Décoratifs
MAD celebrated its status as home to one of the oldest, most important wallpaper collections in the world with a gathering in one of the museum’s grandest spaces. The design concept was to create a dialogue between 18th century decorative arts, with pieces pulled from the MAD collection, and 21st century artists. A collaboration with paper artist Marianne Guely inspired the creative direction and decoration.
